Agri-Food When it comes to the agri-food sector British Columbia is a real contender. The province posses a strong local market driven by the largest population of the western provinces and also enjoys a high annual per household food expenditure. B.C.’s climate creates favourable growing conditions and well established primary production capabilities generate a wide diversity of products. The high quality of life attracts skilled and unskilled labour from around the world resulting in great cultural and linguistic diversity.
